I had a female rotty that use to try to do that to me. She was also spayed. I stopped her because I was the leader of our pack. My suggestion is if she isnt going to be the leader , than yes stop her. It should be a little easier to do considering her size, BJ(my rotty) RIP, was 130lbs before she past , so you can imagine how hard it was to get her to stop but she realized who was the leder after awhile. Patience is all I can say.
