WHOA. You do competitive agility with your Grey? HUUUGE congrats!

Do you have any pictures of her? I give you so much kudos because even the fiercest competitors that I know of haven't been very successful with their greys. These guys just aren't made for those sharp turns. What was your time?

Sorry but for some strange reason they ( judges ) didn't give us our scores or times, they just told us who won. I'm sure i was well under the time limit, though because she just went blasting through the course . ( it was really quite funny, she didn't slow down for the weaves, she just expected them to jump out of her way, i was amazed when she actually did them correctly at that speed ) I haven't seen any other Greyhounds in agility, but my girl has never had any trouble with turns.

I don't compete in agility with any of mine. I'd love to with Tango, but she needs to work on her doggy skills and focusing on me. If a dog were to bark or growl, all attention on me is lost and she's off to see which dog was barking...hopefully someday though. If not with her, definitley my next dog.

The way I taught Jack to weave was to make a channel with some pieces of chicken wire type stuff. I started with all of them on and slowly took one peice of the fencing away until he was doing it reliably. He is just about perfect with his weaves, since its one of the few pieces of equipment I own, and he is incredibly quick too.

Here are some incredibly bad pictures of the channel thing.
