What are your 4th of July plans?

Go to Galveston and go flying with some friends.
Then go to Egret bay and watch fireworks from a boat.

I am walking a dog from the shelter where I volunteer for the 4th of July parade..I really hope whoever I walk that someone falls in love with them.

we will probably barbecue some food in the middle of the day like we usually do (on the 4th) and then go to the fireworks show (on the 3rd) and light fireworks up there.

We will have a BBq so I can be the one telling the kids and the grands to stop sticking things in various body orifices and telling my married daughters to let them have that cake and ice cream its grammas' house dammit! while pulling critters out of love crunches................................basically different theme same scenario! So we will be having fun! can't wait to see how Rusty (rescue dobe )the new boy on the block does with all the attention(my kids actually bring the critters thank you gifts! ) Hope everyone else has a safe fun holiday!

I am staying home to watch the Monk Marathon(sp?)on USA with Zippy,Pumpkin and Nemo.

Nothing happens here on July 4th so no days off for me, I'll be at school. But, as it's the last week, I won't be doing any work, as I'm going to school in non-uniform on that day to help all the early years (aged 4-5) have a teddy bear's picnic. Aaww
