    Twelfth man?

    No, I was wrong.
    More like a whole country.
Indeed!!! You have no idea what's going on here. This was my hometown last night:

Right now, England and Portugal are playing, and it's nice watching relaxed and without being a nervous wreck! LOL

I don't think that Brody's Mum and Miss Z will feel quite the same way at the moment, with Beckham substituted and England down to 10 men! Poor souls will be wrecks.

Oh yes! While watching the match, I was thinking of them, wondering how they are feeling! And now it looks like they're going through the same as we here yesterday!

Besides, I don't think the red card for Rooney was fair, and I wonder what's wrong with Beckham. Is he sick again?

I understand the stamping on someone's ehm ... "privates" is an automatic red card. They were certainly talking about Beckham coming off because of injury at the time. I don't know what the injury was though, that was the only bit of the game I saw.

I can't believe England is out! I knew it would happen though, the english looked so nervous in the penalties...

Now I'll be only rooting for Italia...

They didn't mention an injury here in the German comment, just that he was exhausted.

Oh my, I found myself rooting for England in the end, but now they are out. It's sad, especially to lose a match that way.

Well, I certainly won't root for Italy on Tuesday!

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!

I'm really sad and angry and it seems everyone in every household is swearing at the TV, but I'm not surprised. England have underperformed this world cup. They played pretty good in extra time but unfortunately it wasn't enough. Well done to Portugal, I wish them the best of luck in the semis. We'll have to wait another 4 years I suppose

    Still.....

    OH MY ****** ****** ************!!!

I know exactly how you feel I really think England and Argentina should have stayed a bit longer...

And sometimes you get red 'privates' to remember your experience by....

    ---------------

No more Kaka in the Cup......

    --------------

The commentators were talking about the player who lost his father in the days leading to the Cup....

(I do not remember the player or the team-)
Before the game against Iran the Iranian players gave him flowers to honor his loss.

    added a poll

I can't believe England and Brazil didn't advance....
I believe the red card wasn't for stepping on the private parts but for the shove given to the portughese player right in front of the ref.
These last matches are certainly going to be interesting!

GO TO POLLS: I POSTED A POLL ABOUT.... WHO WILL BE THE WINNER?
