I was thinking about the BBQ, Slick and about how everything works out for the best, even though we can't see it at the time. (My favorite saying) Just think if Slick had not decided to cancel this year's trip to the BBQ when she did, and then she got the pneumonia she has now. I don't believe the airline would have given her her money back at this late date, so she would have been sick and out a bunch of money.

Still hoping and praying for a quick recovery, Slick!

Slick, I'm so sorry to hear you're sick like that and that you can't make it to the BBQ. Take care of yourself and get well soon, ok? I'll miss going, too. I have a small layover in San Jose on the 15th so I'll get to see a tiny part of CA.

I have just gotten off the phone with Costco and they have given me permission to bring Richard with me - just one more time - IF, I promise
that he will behave

We will be laying in supplies for the BBQ.

I just may lose my Costco membership entirely this time.
