Next week, I'm mailing a package down to Gini. In it will be a little something for every attendee. Let's just say that you will go home with a small sampling of what KA-NA-DA is all about and perhaps even a bit of me. Oh yes, and my apron will be there so all of you had better sign it for me.

I was thinking about the BBQ, Slick and about how everything works out for the best, even though we can't see it at the time. (My favorite saying) Just think if Slick had not decided to cancel this year's trip to the BBQ when she did, and then she got the pneumonia she has now. I don't believe the airline would have given her her money back at this late date, so she would have been sick and out a bunch of money.

Still hoping and praying for a quick recovery, Slick!
