Question, why don't the animals have blankets & toys?

At the shelter I delt with, all dogs had a big blanket, kitties had a small blanket & they all had atleast 1 toy each. I saw no blankets & no toys

just the small puppies had blankets and toys. i'll have to take some in next time i go. i've got a plenty. i don't think very many people donate there since it's actually animal control, but they keep the animals longer than most animal controls.

i wish it were that way. the animal control is in the next town. we have a no-kill shelter here in town that is so picky with who adopts their animals they don't ever adopt any out. they have the same dogs since 2001 when they opened.
