I agree with Catty1. The combination of frequent vomitting, no appetite and hiding away points to a cat with a medical problem. The clear fluid she is throwing up could mean she hasn't eaten in over 24 hours. Taking her to the vet now could save you a lot of money in not having to take her in to urgent care if her health continues to decline. She must be dehydrated by now also.

I agree that a vet visit is necessary. My girls sometimes will throw up a small amount of clear liquid... but that is JUST before a hairball. Keep us posted.

Prayers from Indiana that Bonnie is well again soon.

Thanks for the feedback -- will call now and let you know what the vet says about our little Bon-Bon.

Let us know how it goes!

We recently had a similar case at the clinic (but of course vomiting as a symptom can be almost anything). Anyway, this cat just needed a few enemas so he could pass a big hairball/plant material mass. Sometimes they just need help passing something like big that. I hope it is something fairly simple in your girl's case! Bonnie is in my thoughts.

I really appreciate your feedback and concern everyone, it really helped.

Bonnie is (thankfully!) back to her old self. The vet felt she was probably just "under the weather" a bit because she checked out nicely for her exam. We had to coach her somewhat to get her back on track with eating her meals, but now she's joining the others with their little anticipatory dance as I prepare their bowls and eating normally again. She's spending her days her favorite ways once more: watching the birds, diving under bedcovers, and coming up to me for some love -- always on her terms, of course (my silly girl!). I'm so glad she's well! None of my kitties had ever gone off their food for three straight days, so this was a new experience for me!

Thanks again! It's nice to know I have a place to go for support and advice. Here's my girl, long and lean!
