We got Teddy from a menonite farm. the Lab was the young boy's dog and the neighbours Coonhound stopped by for a visit one night and now we have Teddy lol. She and the pups lived out in the barn with the cattleTeddy had a pretty upset tummy all the way home but was fine once we got some kibble into him. I think a cow did something to frighten Teddy when they were in the barn because now he is nervous of big things like that lol.
R.I.P my dear Sweet Teddy. You will be missed forever. We love you.

Micki and Mini were from an accidental litter. My mom knew that I wanted a JRT and one day I was staying with my Aunt and my mom picked me up and took me to these peoples house. Micki and Mini were the only two left out of 5. We took 'em both. I really wish I would've researched a bit more and found a real JRT from a reputable breeder.
Kyra is Mini's baby, my dad grew up believing that a female that is allowed one litter of pups will be a better dog. I was so angry, and I think they learned their lesson. My dad was hoping to make some money but we ultimately gave the pups away to people we knew so we didn't make any profit, and had to deal with a pup with problems (kyra). So, I'm happy to say that they gave up on the whole puppy idea for the future!
Shadow came from my Aunt who bred Rotts for many years. She was definately a BYB, she planned on keeping Shadow and her sister Cocoa but her husband became sick so she dropped Shadow off at our house, not sure what happened with Cocoa.
Jack was from a rescue. Some people were taking him to the shelter when an old man asked if he could have him. He brought him to the rescue and we scooped him up just a couple days later!

I found a lady who had an accidental litter. Actually today I was lost and drove right by the hosue where we got Nicki. I was half tempted to see if they still lived there and might have another accidental litter of a pup related to my sweetheartI haven't been in that neighborhood in a good 8 years.
Daisy was from a friend and it was an accidental litter. Delilah was adopted from an elderly lady whose husband was put into a nursing home. Delilah was his dog and his wife was left to care for her dog as well as Delilah. It was too much for her so I answered an ad in the paper for a Mexican Chihuahua for sale. I still have the ad and I laugh at it every time I see it. I didn't care much for her barky larky demeanor so I almost didn't take her. She turned out to be one of the best dogs I've ever owned or known in my entire life. She's such a sweetheart!!Of course, both of my girls are sweethearts
With time and training, Delilah has changed her barky larky attitude![]()
I've been Boo'd...
