I ordered him a bath. I will get him in 2 hours.
That is good!I bet you are just so excited and want him back so bad!

I bet Charlie was just estatic when you picked him up!![]()

But when you take him in a car he sticks his head out the window." -- Steve Bluestone
Oh, your thread just broke my heart. I know exactly how you feel. That's why my vacations are places I can bring Fenway. I don't want to board him because I know I would miss him to death and vice versa. If I can't bring him, I usually ask my sister to babysit him. I went to Boston for 2 nights and all I could think of was Fenway. I called my sister every night and asked how he was.
I'm so glad you & Charlie are back home, together again. I'm sure he missed you a bunch just like you missed him. In regards to a 9 hour drive...as long as you take potty breaks and food breaks I don't think it'll be a problem. Even a walk break. May take more than 9 hours with all those breaks though. The longest Fenway has driven is 4-5 hours. He just sleeps and then we stop as rest stops and he drinks and walks and poops. He doesn't really eat. He has a "cubby" in the backseat. He usually just hangs out in that. But also, he is only 20 pounds so it may just be physically easier to travel with him as opposed to a bigger dog? Not sure.
