My favorite is the Black Panther. Always wanted one as a pet.

I don't think I've ever seen an albino Panther!![]()
I think Cheetah's are my favourite simply cause they're the fastest land animal and I love the 'eyeliner' markings on their eyes. They seem to be on Wildlife programs the most too than any other cat.
On a documentary series called Planet Earth on BBC in Britain presented by Sir David Attenborough (Simply a God I must add) they had footage of a snow leopard hunting and with other snow leopards which had never been filmed before. They're extrememly shy and they managed to get about an hour's footage (after a few weeks!), it was the most amazing thing to watch, utterly breathtaking seeing it chasing a deer down a mountainside that was so steep, and it was so skillfull and moved with such dexterity it was amazing. It didn't catch the deer though in the end it got away![]()
I would recommend any documentaries on DVD by David Attenborough to all on here, in particular in the US and Canada where you may not have seen any of his programmes. He's a god in Britain.
I love mountain lions. I think all cats are beautiful but I'm especially fond of these kitties.
Sarah, meowmie of Whisper, Shadow, Callie and red-eared slider, Kahn
Thank you CatNapper for the beautiful siggy!
My 2 favorites (never been able to make it just one) are Tigers & Bobcats. Growing up on a farm in Alberta, we had a lot of Bobcats and they were always amongst my favorites. Also love black panthers, but that could be because my own cat, Shadow, reminds me so forcibly of one.
Tigers, tigers, tigers and more tigers.![]()

Mine is adult male lions with those magnificent manes. Several years ago Soncat and I went to a zoo up in northern New Jersey. The major attraction that day were the five (I think) baby cubs only a few weeks old. Of course mommy lion and daddy lion were out there with them. It was funny how the babies were climbing all over their daddy but he never even tried to chase them off of him. Well, mommy gave a slight roar and the babies lined up and started to follow her back inside. Except for one little guy. Daddy lion went over to the baby, smacked the little guy on the butt with his huge paw and sent him flying to where mommy was waiting.
