    Oh and I don't know if anyone said Courage form "Courage the Cowardly Dog" hmmm, looking at movies... there's Jenna and Aleu from"Balto"...Dotty and her puppies from Operationalmatian and Baskerville from Operation: Dalmatian The Big Adventure. I don't remember having all these movies, I should look through them more!

    Okay, I've thought of another Famous Dog.

    Remember the movie, "Down and Out in Beverly Hills"? starring Nick Noltie, Richard Dryfuss, Bette Midler, Little Richard.& many other great actors.

    "Matiese." He was a Border Collie ( ) in the movie who suffered bouts of anxiety. He was well trained for the part. i.e., He could call 911 on the telephone. Little Richard plugged the movie on "The Johnny Carson show" but said that "Matiese" bit him during filming.

    Matiese was counsiled by a Dog Therapist, Dr. Von (something or other) .

    Dr. Von Zimmer? This movie is hilarious.

    My Daughter bought a Sheltie years ago and named him Matiese. I have to look up that movie now to get the name of the artist that this dog was named after. I know I have mis-spelled the name.

    The correct spelling for the the Dog who was in the movie, Down and Out in Beverly Hills , is MATISSE!!! Henri Matisse was a French Painter during the 20th Century.

    The dogs real name was MIKE. He was a Scottish Border Collie with one blue eye and one floppy ear. Sad to report that Mike is now deceased.

    I'm sure he's already on the list but Eddie from "Frasier"...
    The little dog from "Legally Blonde" and the one from "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days"...
    The Bueller family's Rottweiler in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" - I love the scene where the principal peeks through the dog door and the Rottie just growls!
    Dodger and all of his friends in the Disney movie "Oliver and Company"...
    Pluto!

    Who else is a fan of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood? Remember Bob Dog?!

    In the comic strip "Cathy", she has a dog and her husband Irving does, too. I don't know either of the dogs' names, though!
