I never thought I'd use my ac but find I love it since I can set it to where I want and not have to freeze.

However, I can totally relate to the heat having suffered for long summers with it for years.

Since I didn't have carpeting, I would mist parts of the floors with cold water for the cats to sleep on. It would dry fast and leave the floor cool. You can do the same thing by just mopping the floor with cool/cold water. Fans blowing also helps.

I've even made ice packs wrapped in towels for the cats to sleep next too.
No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!

We're all suffering here in Phoenix. It's 108F 42C and suppose to reach 111 - 113 in the next few days. UGH...
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    We need air

Oh my poor darling Inka! How terrible that you and your sisters have to put up with such heat! I understand how you feel because during the summer it gets very hot here in Trenton, sometimes the temperature is over 100 degrees. Last summer Soncat and another man put an air conditioner in our apartment. It makes inside feel nice but they put this thing in one of my favorite windows! Tell you what, my sweet... why don't you come to Trenton and you can stay in the air conditioning with me?

Purrs, snuggles, kitty hugs, and kitty kisses,
    Love,
    Your Groucho
