He should be ashamed of himself. He should have been asking what he could do to make your work situation a little more comfortable for you. If the clothing issue was really that important to him, he should have asked if there was any way he could help you secure a few items to get you through the rest of your pregnancy.

I would think that the jeans would be rather hot for you during this the summer weather. Do you have a Goodwill or other used clothing store nearby where you could pick up a few pieces of maternity clothing on the cheap? Not for him, but for your own comfort.
