I know just how you feel. Once, when I took my dog to the Vet, he tried to pick her up by the collar , you know, to place her on the examination table.
She weighed nearly 50 pounds, and she yiped big time.
He noticed the look of horror on my face, and crouched down to pet her. Katie, my dog, was very affectionate. She was afraid of him and she licked his face. I picked her up on the table and the visit carried on-- right, NOT.
Katie develped an infection the next week,,she would not eat, and I knew it had to be something that happened when he carelessly man handled her.
We had to pay for an x-ray, medication, and I fed her soft food until she felt better.
I never went back to that idiot ever again, but, there are people in my community who swear by him.
I am still upset about it, even though Katie Lynn is gone.
