Eagles are gorgeous. It is beyond me why Benjamin Franklin favored the frickin' TURKEY as our national bird over something as beautiful and majestic as an eagle.

Great pics, Glacier. Thanks for sharing.

Those are wonderful. There's an eagle at my parent's condo. He was very handsome. But, I never had a camera that could get a good photo of him. One day I'll either be close enough or have a good enough camera! But, for now, I'll just come look at these pictures! I want to come kayaking with you! That makes me so homesick (because I had a kayak back in SC). Post as many scenery pictures as you can!

    That Does It

Glacier, I am moving in with you. Surely hope you and your family will be happy to see me and my pets at your doorstep(s).

Do you have a spare room?

    See you soon.

Wow!!! How awesome to see a Balde Eagle in the wild. I've only seen them in zoos.

Do you ever take any of the dogs with you when you go paddling?

No, none of them really like to swim and they could get into a whole lot of trouble running along the shore. Occasionally if I'm just going to a quarry to practice rolling and self-rescue, I'll take Kayleigh with me.
