I would get it, the picture quality is fantastic. I've been wanting this camera for months but didn't want to be put out that much money but I finally decided to get it. I shoot pictures every day, so it's not like it will go to waste!
Well, the S2 is what I had and it takes great pictures. It is really good for someone who's into photography but not looking to spend a lot of money. But I am thinking of doing this as an odd job. People are asking me to shoot pictures of their pets now so I am just trying to improve upon myself by getting better equipment. I like the S2 and I'm still going to use it, but the pictures aren't high enough quality and the camera isn't fast enough for the types of things I'm wanting to do.I'd basically take any Canon right now, because my Kodak pretty much sucks. The Rebel's a little too expensive for me, and I'm only almost 14..., so I'll settle for the S2/S3 IS
My mom has a film Rebel too.i have a rebel too!! but its a manual not digianyway great pics they take
