I just got my paycheck, turns out I'm buying an ipod after all!

No, I don't have one. Right now I'm very content with my MP3 player. It can take LOTS of wear and tear. I'm dropped it on a hard floor, practically threw it across the room on accident (Don't ask ), sat on it, and MANY other things, and it's still in one piece!!!
    This is what I have...

I'll probably getting an older version of an Ipod someday, but I don't think It'll EVER be a Nano. I'll break it.

If I ever get a nano or any iPod I will be so careful with it. I don't see how anyone could get an iPod and then drop it and throw it and everyting that doesn't make sense to me.

I would need one that can stand wear and tear.

I was the one that answered, "what is an ipod". I really am not so sure. I **think** it is a tiny portable, personal radio? LOL, music and I are just not intimate.

Close! Its a portable MP3 player. Kind of like a CD player except you load songs directly into it through your computer.

Yup - not a radio, it only has music on it that you put there. There are never any commercials, and you can make playlists to your own liking. You can also buy songs from Apple.com for example, that only cost 99 cents each, which is great when you just want one song, and don't need the whole album!

You can listen to it with headphones, or plug it into external speakers - I have one of those near where I exercise each morning, and use my "peppier songs" playlist to keep me going at a good pace.

You get a special computer program called iTunes with it so that you can by songs on line and load to your iPod. Some have video now so that you can watch music videos and stuff. You can have iTunes without the iPod like I do though. It is a little thing that plays music

I don't have one, but, I definitely want anything that will enable to listen to music all the time. Music is everything to me, I always have music on in my home and in my car, and, I'd love to have something to take with me on walks with the dogs or just into a store or whatever. Music is in my heart all the time, though, so, I can wait. Yeah, I'm a dork, I just feel that strongly about it!

Do you turn the volume up really loud on yours or do you keep it low?

Lmbo! It's never on purpose. Somtimes I can't help it. I need somthing I can take it EVERYWHERE and not have to be extreemly careful and scared so I don't break it. And I'm such a klutz!! I don't like getting things super-pricey because if I break it, thats a lot of money going down the drain.
