They could try, but they won't have any luck. Occasionally, I see young boys casting on the shore. It's too shallow for fish. Apparently the gov't tried to stock it a few years ago and the fish didn't survive the winter. At it's deepest it's probably only 8 feet and it freezes pretty much solid in the winter.Originally Posted by ramanth
It's full of weeds and small bugs and such that support the birds. The beavers are destroying the poplar forest near the lake--which thrills me since I really like beavers and I'm violently allergic to the fuzz poplar trees drop!
