    Rach. believe it or not I was up at 6a for phys. therapy at 8a, laid back down for a "sec" and missed my appointment..AGAIN!
    Already had a lunch date and *shock*, my brother is taking me AND John to a fancy expensive dinner in Philly! My bro even took the day off to spend time with me..not that he is..
    Had a near breakdown yesterday, realizing it's my first b-day w/o my mom
    So John phoned my neighbor and we wound up having refreshing cocktails until 10p! In between time, 3 other neighbors and I spotted 2 HUGE unleashed dogs roaming our block and after what happened to me, everyone is freaking out. When the cops came, they immediately said "you're the girl whose hand....." Anyway, I'm the talk of the police station, apparently. Don't know if they found the dogs. Never a dull moment around here. I hope this year I'll get to keep all of my body parts!

I'm sorry it started out in a not so good tone realizing your mom wouldn't be here to celebrate with you but it sounds like your dear brother stepped right in to help cheer you!
