If you remember this thread.. Here it said I was nominated for the Who's Who Outstanding Middle School students award.. Yesterday, we got a letter in the mail, saying I've been accepted!

If it is the same company as the Whos Who of American High School Students, which I was in, be careful. It is a nice honor, to be sure, but really what they want is for you to spend a lot of $$$$$ buying the book, a plaque, bookmarks, etc. Instead, keep that acceptance letter safe and frame that, if you want, or make copies of it for your permanent record.

I never did find a copy of the book for the year I was in it, despite the company's claim that it is in "libraries everywhere."

You can get a color copy made of the acceptance letter pretty inexpensively at any Kinkos or copy shop - make a couple while you're there, and give one to the guidance office at your school, so it is part of your file.
