I found a dog a few months ago and that's how I found her owner.

Can you take him to a vet of Humane Society and check for a microchip?

If your paprents to to take him somewhere, maybe they can take him to a HUmane Society instead of Dog Warden? The one in Findlay seems pretty good (although maybe less chance of owner's finding him if he is further away)

did you call the Humane Society or the dog warden here in town?
WCHS will keep lost dogs and post them in the paper that they have found dogs that are this color/breed etc.
wish I could be of more help since I am local
