It might be a LITTLE confusing at first if you have never used anything other than Internet Explorer before, but they have a conversion thingy that helps you out and FF will import all your favorites from IE so you won't loose your bookmarks. I love Firefox! I don't know about a favourite extension but I think the most useful is NoScript, it offers extra protection and it is hardly any hassle to use the allow/disallow. FasterFirefox is excellent too.
