Wow, amazing. The pictures are great.Thank you so much for posting
all the pictures of the farm's animals.I get to imagine my self there too.![]()
I'm so glad you got to experience this first hand. It must be so peaceful
living in a slower paced enviorment.I'd love to see some stars sometimes
without all the clutter of street lights, etc. One question tho, what is the
purpose of this thing covering the horse's eyes?

Lizbud, It's a fly screen to keep the flies and dirt out of the horses eyes when they are turned out in the field. My friend uses them on her horses when the flies are bad, it's not good to get fly spray around the horses eyes. They can still see through the mesh, it's like the horse is wearing shades.Originally Posted by lizbud

Slleipnir, I love the farm photos, especially the ones of the horses and kittens.
It looks like Prince Edward Island is a beautiful place.

WOW WOW and WOW again!! What a wonderful experience for you Audrey! I'm green with envy. It must be such fun to just get up every morning and spend time there with all the great animals. Every day is a new adventure. I'm so glad you got to do this. Wonderful pictures and thanks so much for sharing![]()
I've been Boo'd...
Thanks Barry!
Oh sorry. Didn't know that fly mask question was answered all ready.
I'm getting my mom and nieces and nephew out sometime for a wagon ride (you can do this when you rent the guest cottage) and I'll get more pictures then. She's getting 100 chicks tomorrow...so that should be an experience! I'm excited about possibly riding Jethro. If it goes well, I'll seriously reconsider riding lessons.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments. (I've never had a photo thread with so many replies)

It's called a fly mask. It keeps all the flys out of their eyes. They can be really bad. Don't worry though, they can see fine!Originally Posted by lizbud
You would be amazed how wonderful it is here. They live off grid with all power from solar and wind. I really wish you all could experience this. (hey, come on down and rent the guest cottage!!)
