I love your work Chris...and I love Depp as well!! I can't wait until July when the next Pirates of the Carribean movie comes out.

I haven't even figured out how to colour the pics in photoshop yet. That will be a future lesson when I find the time.

My sister's birthday is this month and my mother's birthday is coming up in July. I decided to create something from all the photos we have and this year I'll be focussing on the cottage pictures. Our cottage is like our home and we have had the property in our family for close to 70 years.

This was my first attempt at doing a significant alteration in photoshop. It's the cabin by the lake at our cottage and I'll be doing similar black and white pictures of each building on the property to eventually have a set (we have 5 buildings).

My sister said she wanted a cottage picture for her office at work. I'll be framing the altered picture below this weekend for her.

I have one of the earlier photoshops, version 6, but I think the colouring is a faily easy thing to do, especially if you have other pictures to colour pick from for the skin tone etc. Then all you need is to do lots of layers and have patience!

If anyone would like me to post my attempt at a tutorial for colouring black & white pictures let me know. Or one for making a feature of something in a colour pic as Russian Blue did of the boat in her Nakita thread.

Kass, sorry I missed this. That pic for the sister is beautiful. I only have Adobe Photoshop Starter Edition on my computer. Can I do the what you are doing with that version??

Awww..no fair. You're able to visit everyone while I sit on the sidelines. Care to sneak me in your luggage? I can go on a diet now and by the time you go see Chris I might just fit!
