I still haven't received my permit. I'm calling again today just to check status.

Update. If we can get my mom's dog Emma a permit last minute, they'll be coming too!

I'm so glad you are coming also! Are you bringing both pups with you? Gosh, I just can't wait to see everyone.

For anyone who has not got their permit yet, but have sent in their registration, if you call the Park Office and let them know I could pick them up rather than waiting on them in the mail. I may be going out of town on Friday so Thursday would work best for me to pick them up.

Has anyone mentioned what the forcast is at this point for Sunday? I know that it is a while away yet, but I was just wondering what they were predicting.

Okay, so short-sleeves it is. And lots of water/ice for the pups. Sounds good to me. Thanks Phred.

There's a water pump right there in the dog park itself, so you needn't pack water, just a dish to put it in!

No dishes really needed, either. There's small, medium, and large waterbowls there - they were there all 3-4 times we went to the park last week. Dad, Ki, and I drove to Findlay from our campground almost every day.

Is there absolutely something easy that needs to be brought - like a necessity?? Can't do much since we're traveling but if something needs to be picked up let me know. A few of you have our cell number if needed.

Although you may not need dishes at the dog park it is always a wise idea to bring them just in case you need them while traveling. Even for the shortest distance, you never know if your car will break down or the like.

    Duh!

But I thought they were just talking about for the park. I always have 2 dishes in the truck with us, for food and for water.

Ki even going to drink water before I did on our trip, if I only had a little bit of water in my water bottle.

if you have a picky dog like I do I do bring my own bowl b/c Keegan won't drink the water the other dogs have slobbered on - she prefers drinking out of the faucet!
