that way hopefully you'll be able to find the owner

I took her to the animal shelter here with me after we found her and they scanned her for a microchip, and she didn't have one.

Yeah, we are going to keep her. We love her. I would rather find her owners if they are looking for her, but if no one comes forward then she will have a permanent home here with us.

We have started calling her "Marlie". But she has several nicknames.. Such as "Little Annie", "Pumpkin", "Princess"... etc. Not sure if Marlie will stick either...
She got the nickname "Little Annie", because my niece calls her Annie.. which is my dachshund mix's name.
