We had another "Award-Winning Performance" at PawsFest -

the second PT Winner was Ann's Hubby MARK who scored better than
a 9.5 average in Turf Diving.

It's a long story ...
Started during our picnic supper - when the Baby Chipmunks
started FALLING OUT of the Trees and running through the crowd!

Huney started *Lookin UP* at that point and never stopped >>>

We adjourned the picnic area and moved to the Kids Playground to give
Robin's WELL-behaved Nieces a chance to be Kids for a while.

Huney was developing a Stiff Neck from Chipmunk / Squirrel Watchin ...
Mark offered to take her on a Squirrel Hunt ...

OFF they went -at a dead run - Squirrel Hunter in the lead ...
"Dad" hangin onto the leash a few steps behind ...

Things started goin DOWNhill as Mark's leash arm & upper body got farther & farther
out in front and ahead of his feet ...

The Turf Dive was a sight to behold - but sadly, , not photographed.

Most of us gave him a 9.5 - Anna (slightly biased) awarded a 10 Plus.

He stretched out - almost horizontal a foot or two above the ground -
then landed spread-eagle on the grass.
Never lost his grip on Huney's leash ...
And Huney never took her eyes of the Squirrel in the Tree, either!

(NOTE: the "Slow - Speed Bump" sign!)

"C'mone, Dad! You're layin down onna job again!"

"Keep your eyes on your Squirrel at ALL times!"

He's UP!

"C'mone, Dawg! I've had enough *phunn* for one day!"
