A HUGE THANKS for all your prayers!!!! It was a very scary morning at the house that started at 230 am. I got up to see how Hope Simone was doing, and she was in her litter box straining. I thought she was unable to pee. I called Animerge(the ER vet about 20 miles away), to let them know we were on our way. Thank heavens, NO one was on the road and I made the trip(at 55 mph)in 15 minutes. The vet checked her out then off to the back. They did an abdominal X Ray and she was loaded with bm. Despite the fact that since she was home, she had had several formed stools. I asked the vet, why if she was so blocked, did she eat, not projectile vomit(like humans with obstructions), and why did she have several normal stools???? The vet just shook her head. Hope Simone acted nothing like a sick kitty. Long story short, after a few sudsy enemas, and the solid stuff came out, I got a call at 11am, come get her at noon. I did, she has to go see our vet tomorrow>Hope Simone is home running about and ready to eat. Ok, now she is napping in a Grainger box. When she gets up she will eat!!! Will get photos eventually. THANKS GARY FOR THE THREAD< I know the prayers helped!!!
