220 was bedrock. We actually went and talked to retired driller last night (The guy who trained our driller). He said he'd never gone deeper than 160 for bedrock in our area before! He thinks the problem was that we live on the highest point in our subdivision(which isn't all that high really!)--gives us a great view, but apparently not so great for other things.Originally Posted by Freckles

I moved alround Saskatchewan and Alberta, before deciding none of those places were particularly warm. Now I am just across the Mason-Dixon line and only get snow once or twice a year (and nothing like what I was used to before)
You are definitely moving in the wrong direction if you want warmer![]()
