I didn't even know about it. How much is the entry fee or is there a website I can go look at? I'd love to go!Originally Posted by selkirkrex

He'll be 4 months old on June 3rd, so old enough to start showing.
Oh! Do you have a pic of that boy? Pleeease!

It's been a while since I've been able to show due to moving around so much and this is my first litter of selkirks in quite a while.
I'm still trying to decide what to name this boy... I've named his longhaired curly red sisters Lucille McCurl and Curly Temple... but he and his white short haired curly sister still don't have names. My cattery name is Cutetins, which will be the prefix on their registrations... so I just need to figure out what to call these other two kids.
Oh, what a cute lamb! :-)
He's really sweet. I'm thinking about the names... very difficult indeed. Cutetins ... ??? I'd actually chose the name you'll call him first and then add something to make it more "noble" or funny.
To go on with the game - Siberians are one of my fav breeds:

OK, I'll stop it - but ain't they gorgeous? :-)
Let's go for some difficult breeds again: Australian Curl.
@DallasRechelle: Where do you always get the latest news about Barbaro? Do you know him personally?
Oh those are gorgeous, thank you!!!Originally Posted by Xaja
I hope you're aware that the Australian Curl cat is extinct? I can't find a single picture of them, since they only existed in Australia for at most a year.
I'm getting it from www.blood-horse.com and http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/horse/index I'm a huge fan of Barbaro, he was truly impressive horse, which I haven't seen run in years.
Do you want to put up a different breed?
Oh sorry... I just check in my list the breeds I have no photos of. The next is Bohemian Rex - would you like to try that one?
I understand your devotion to that horse - I'm an Arab fan and have two of them here:![]()
My son came up with our cattery name years ago when bred himalayans and persians. Cutetins is short for cute kittens... he always called them cutetins for short. With the selkirks, I usually incorporate some form of curl or wave into the name if they are standard curly kittens... the straight coated babies are easier to name since I can call them pretty much anything.Originally Posted by Xaja
I can understand your love of the siberian. I had two of them a few years ago. Darcy was a brown torbie and her sister was a red. I got them from a breeder in PA when I was still living there. The red girl had a heart problem and passed on and Darcy was so jeolous of the other cats that she would literally pee on me while I slept... so we found her a home with an older gentleman that could be devoted to just her. She is doing very well there as an only pet and companion to a retired man that adores her.

He definitely has been getting a lot of presents.
Is it alright if I add you to my Yahoo Messenger list?
Great pics!
An american Keuda for you:

And another difficult one: Burmalayan, Himbur, Iranese, Layanese, Silkanese, Tibetane, Tonkalayan, Minx Persian. Seems to be the same breed!
Yes, it's ok if you add me, but I won't be online the next few days.
