    Oh my gosh how absolutely horrible! That poor pup - I agree with caseysmom, definitely keep your girls away from that house. I don't know how you can get the images out of your head - talking about it with someone, hugging your girls a lot, let it out by crying, just a few ideas. ((((hugs)))) I'm so sorry you had to see that

    This woman was killing her own dog?? Or was it her Mother's dog? Either way....unbelievable. I wish you didn't see that. That must have been awful. That woman needs help. That poor dog. I feel so bad and so sad.

    It was her dog. I think the lady finally went over the edge because that dog was her best friend, she had him with her at all times she never even left the house without him. It's a tragic thing for all involved. The poor dog had to pay the price in the end.

    Thank you Kay for the beautiful sig!

    Donna, how absolutely heartbreaking. I feel so terrible for all involved. I hope that crazy loon gets some much needed rehab/jail time. I agree with what others have posted and keep those girls inside. My (((((hugs)))) go to you and your family right now as well for having to witness such a disgusting act.

    that is awful. at first, i thought i read that the dog was dieing under the truck, like it had been hit. and, she was shooting it because of that. that would be hard, too, but, not like this. when i realized she was killing it for no reason, that's just horrible.

    Dear god that is so awful. I'm very very sorry you had to see that happen. I once saw a video of a horrible act of cruelty to an animal which I won't talk about, but whenever I think about it, I feel like I'm going to get sick. I can't imagine really seeing it. That poor dog, at least you were able to get that woman away from hurting anyone else. Take it easy, and give your dogs a special hug for me. I hope you can rest better soon.

    I'm sorry you had to witness that. It has to be one of the most disturbing things I have ever heard. Take good care of your family, I wouldn't trust that person at all.

    [QUOTE The girl still isnt home, maybe they took her to detox? I dont know.....[/QUOTE]

    Donna, if it would make you feel better to know the girl is locked up somewhere, try calling the police.Tell them you are a neighbor, witnessed the act and are concerned for your familys safety. They may tell you if she is locked up.
    I'm so sorry you had to see all this. In time you won't think about it as much. It will come back to you as real as ever probably the rest of your life, but you won't dwell on it as much.
    Living next to a druggie, I know all too well the fear and worry that goes along with it and have witnessed dog abuse(which I reported)I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that you can deal with this, I have thought about you all day since I read this this morning. {hugs}
