Thank you Karen, I wasnt thinking real well when I posted this in Dog General. I have never seen anything so sad, ever. I have been saying prayers for the Akita's owner, and her mom. She is out of town she doesn't even know it happened yet. She is a huge animal lover like we are. I hope the girl gets some help. The Akita's name was King.

You know what? I've had that thought running through my head also. When it comes to someone that uses meth you can not trust them. They do NOT think like a normal person. I will watch my fur kids like a hawk. The girl still isnt home, maybe they took her to detox? I dont know.....

I don't know how you can get the images out of your head - talking about it with someone, hugging your girls a lot, let it out by crying, just a few ideas. It was her dog. I think the lady finally went over the edge because that dog was her best friend, she had him with her at all times she never even left the house without him. It's a tragic thing for all involved. The poor dog had to pay the price in the end.
