First of all, Thank you all SO much for being excited along with me!! That makes it even more fun.I will be sharing lots of pictures because I know how the puppy months speed by!
Ginger's Mom - yup, that's my lap. He is such a friendly little thing and I think this series of shots captures that. His widdle tail is but a blur!
bckrazy- You like the name?? Kidding... it is starting to grow on me more and more. My Dad LOVES it, and was quite hurt after I voiced my initial reaction. (I'm just glad I'm not a boy...or it would be my name....)
Staci- We considered names relating to his cute little ear splotch or his heart shaped blaze, but my Dad just LOVES the name Kirk. I also think the heart shape won't be so prominent once his full coat grows in, that's just my guess though...
We visited again on Friday and will see him once more before we leave on our trip. As of yesterday the pups are 7 weeks old!! They were running around a lot more during this visit, so we got a ton of blurry shots. We did get some cute ones, but I have to warn you...my Mom didn't zoom in enough and I ended up in a bunch of the pics.
Kirk is one of the more independent, adventuresome & playful pups. He is friendly certainly, but not the least bit clingy. He sharply contrasts to the little female runt, who attached to me as soon as I squatted down to 'pup level' and rarely left my lap the whole time we were there. She will most certainly grow up to be a velcro dog! Their personalities have all developed a lot from when we saw them last. Ok, now on to the pics...
