cross your fingers! i applied for a job at the Gibson County Animal Services. it's the county's animal control/animal shelter. i'm expecting a call back from them at any time. i REALLY REALLY hope i get this job!

i figgerd if i was gonna work there i better get use to seeing all those puppy faces. i looked at all the dogs.....i'm in for it! there was the most adorable litter of blue eyed border collie/ausie mix pups, a husky mix litter, a small schnauzer, 2 cute beagles, labradoodle(the kind people pay $$$ for), lots and lots of labs and lab mixes.

EDIT: just think. i had to leave this cutie behind

haha! it was very hard to leave him! i just had to remind myself that i'm getting a dane in August and i'll get to foster PLENTY of puppies from here if i get the job.

i've not heard from them yet, but i don't expect to right now. there was just a tornado(5mins ago) right about where the shelter is! i don't think the place got hit, but it probably stressed them.

i got a call from the shelter today. they said i was perfect for the job. i am exactly what they are looking for, but they can't hire me. i have to live in Gibson county. i live one county over in Pike county.

...so i'm on the look out for another job.

thanks. i really hope so. i called around at other shelters, but no one is hiring. i really want a job with animals, prefrably shelter animals.
