The picture of my grandfather was a complete surprise.
A second cousin sent it to me. We had met over the internet while doing family history research. Her grandmother and my grandfather were brother and sister. She just got the picture from another second cousin and sent it to me. I'm just amazed!!!

That's incredible! You just met her online! What are the chances of that?!!
I'd quite like to do some research into family history, but I don't know how to go about it. Must be interesting.

Oh MOFF, I'm just seeing this now. How wonderful that you had those pictures sent to you. Mickey looks adorable.

And that is so great that you connected with distant relatives over the Net.

I have a full album of old pictures like that. There is one of my Dad's Mom who I never knew and my middle name is the same as hers. I'm told we have the same purrsonality....not sure exactly what that means.
