I stated something about 8 months ago to see if it would work to calm Amy on those long car rides to my son's. I started singing 2 songs to her at home when we would be having our happy cuddeling sessions. Let me call you sweetheart and You are my Sunshine. (I can not sing worth a flip but she don't mind) She looks at me the whole time I am singing to her, keeps her eyes GLUED on me and looks at me so sweet. I have found that in the car, it WORKS. She calms right down, gets quite and watches me while I sing to her. When I quit, she will be quiet awhile before she starts screaming agin and I have to sing again for the whole trip. I really think she loves me singing to her. I did it the other day on the way to the vets and she didn't get all screaming and paniced on that ride either.
