For the most part, it is interesting, and I enjoy it. I get to see and hear about alot of the new devices that will be coming out before they are released. Although I can't say a lot about most of it, one of the new projects we are bidding on testing is the packaging for a canine pain med. The manufacturer is really going above and beyond the FDA requirements for a vet med, which of course makes me happy!! Their feeling is that package for animals medicines should be just as safe as it is for humans ( European agencies require this, US does not). Anyway, it is easy to get off on a tangent because it is interesting!!
I got my BS in Chemistry and a PhD in Polymer Chemistry. After doing polymer science for about 16 years I switched to analytical in the pharma industry. I mainly "babysit" reactions (in-process testing is what THEY like to call it, but it's really babysitting...) It's quite a change, but I love all kinds of analytical tests and instrumentation.

I have a BA in political science, which is pretty much a worthless degree. I worked for awhile, and decided I wasn't argumentative enough, so, I went on to law school, and obtained my juris doctorate (JD).

I have a general practice (excluding all things domestic, juvenile), a fair amount of civil litigation, and about 10% prosecution for a local municipality. And, whatever else pays the bills...he he he.Originally Posted by Lobodeb
