    I got these photos of two lovely Kookaburra's on Saturday evening at a function i was at, they were so used to people and were happy to hang out and "party" with everyone .

    Oh gosh! I almost missed these. Thanks for posting the pics, Michelle. They are great. I love seeing the different animals. I wish I could have been right there with ya while you were taking the pics. Its about time you posted these, Michelle. Now how about some spottie pics, girlfriend .

    Rhi, thanks for posting the Kookaburras also. Great pics and it makes me think of a song we use to sing when I was little. Somthing like "Kookaburra sits in the ol' Gum Tree". I don't know..lol..maybe I'm making that up..lol . It just popped in my head.

    Rhi, I went to Port Stephens awhile ago, and there were Kookaburra's there exactly the same - relatively tame ...... but still to be avoiding (that beak is painful!!!)

    So glad you liked the pics - now Anna and Robin - about that visit?????
