I started college majoring in Chemical engineering. After two years, and a co-op job in that field, I decided that wasn't what I wanted to do. Instead, I graduated with a BS in Biochemistry. I worked in R&D for 5 years after I graduated, before moving to an analyticallab, where I was reviewing work done by chemists to be sure it met regulatory requirements. I am now working in a technical sales position, where I advise our clients what chemistry work they need to do to get clearance from the FDA or other notified bodeis for their medical devices (to prove they are safe).
