I LOVE it! Way too funny.

I met a couple last night that told me they had 14 cats. My first reply: "Are you on Pet Talk?" I then went into this conversation about pillars, the dog house, etc. Everyone in the room looked at me like I am a complete moron!

I do that too when I meet people at PetSmart or anywhere there are animals. I am always saying "I have a friend that has one like that", meaning someone on PT. I met a lady at a cat show and went on and on about PT and what wonderful things people here have done and how someone is always sending someone something through the mail for their pets or making donations to help someones pet. People just can not grasp the love that is shared here without experiencing it. I know a lot of Eddies friends, nurses, and in laws were amazed at the cards that came from my "internet friends".... They would look so surprised as they walked away.

What Pet Talk does to our brains...

How funny too.. Know I catch myself too ID each kind of pet to a PT'r.. What even worse is all the people I have told about Pet Talk.. Just yesterday in Walmart a lady wanted help on what cat litter was the best & after we rambled on about our babies = here I went about she needed to join Pet Talk..

I think the term "BORG" may be appropriate here.

Only a PTer would understand that. Someone from work asked me if I wanted to go camping Memorial Weekend. I explained why I couldn't (PT Meeting in Ohio) and they looked at me like I was crazy! Someone said, "you're going that far for a website?" I had to remind her that the net has been very good to me. I met my hubby on the net, went from New Mexico to Chicago for him, so Chicago to Ohio is small peanuts!

BTW, I'm so excited for the shindig!

You can tell her that you'e not driving nearly as far as some folks who are coming! We're driving about 13 hours from Massachusetts, and that's nothin' compared to Kay, who is driving up from Florida - Google says 22 1/2 hours! Hee hee!
