If there isn't a bunch of rust on it, clean what you can and wrap the try in new aluminum foil and after it is clean and dry, fill it back up and put it back out for the kitties. Well, it does have A LOT of nastiness on it but, also, the water itself is very dirty. He got mad the last time I went and gave them some clean tap water, so I don't know how he would feel about me throwing the feeder away. I suppose I can just go take my own bowl of clean water out every day.
