I made sure my bosses knew what day it was.

I got a big bouquet from one boss and then the whole staff got me a small bouquet and a basket with tea/chocolate/tea cup/tea pot.

    It's been a good day.

Happy Admin day to those people who hold any company together. I can't imagine what my company would do without our admin.

Being a support person myself, I guess I can weigh in on this. Never liked the idea. Just give me the respect and consideration I deserve and pay me what I am worth. I don't think that any particular position should be singled out for flowers, candy, or a free meal. Just seems a bit gratuitous to me and in that way demeaning. Hope I'm not offending anyone who enjoys this type of *recognition*, just wanted to say that I don't.

Me too! One of my supervisors took me out to lunch and the president of our division bought me a huge bouqet of easter lillies!! They're beautiful!

Just so I have this correct, that would be the lady at the front desk right?
(switchboard, greeter, mail, lots of other stuff)

If so I'm gonna send her an E-greeting

he he he he. You just summed up most admins' jobs. It's very thoughtful of you. I'm sure she'll appreciate your kind gesture.

It can be the receptionist, executive assistant, secretary, accounting clerk, department coordinator, etc.

I didn't even know what day it was so I know my bosses have NO idea what so ever.
I see me mentioning something in the very near future.
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.

    thanks guys

I always think about her. She misses out on so much free foods. If I don't see her in the room, I'll fill a plate with all sorts of goodies & rush it to her
