In my continual quest to find out what our new family member is, or atleast get a better idea, I am wondering about noses. I saw a dobie yesterday whose owner said that dobies have the slits on the sides of their noses. Is this true for a dobie and not a rott? Anyone care to take a close-up picture of their dobbie and of their rott's noses? If can, thanks!!

I'm assuming you're trying to find out if your dog is mixed with either a Dobe or Rott. If so, you might be able to tell by the coat. Both are short coated breeds but Dobes are single coated (no undercoat) and Rotts are double coated (with undercoat). I'm not sure if there are any other obvious ways or not..
