Thread: Scott turf builder/ weed killer bad for dogs???

    I don't really trust chemicals like those, too many things can go wrong.

    I'm not sure about that particular brand but most lawn sprays are not safe for *at least* 24 hours. Some need longer, until a good rain rinses a lot of it into the soil then after it is dried.

    It is best to contact the company directly.

    Yes I think contacting the company would be a very good idea. I remember reading somewhere that weed killer can be a carcinogen if pets are exposed too soon, so be careful.
