How can this be comfortable?

At times I wonder how our kitties manage to get themselves into some of these positions, let alone be comfortable and sound asleep. They are, without a doubt, the ultimate contortionists!!!!!

My kitties sleep like that all the time and with the paw paws over the eyes too!
I think they do that cause meowmie sleeps with the TV on which gives off to much light
