Basically watermelons are sugars. A little will not hurt but a lot will basically do the same in your pet as it does in you. Give you a burst of enery then a let down. To many sugars (or carbs that break down into sugars) can cause obesity. Dogs can also get Diabetes so you need to be aware of that side of things too.
