I read that article in my newspaper the other day. I was saddened AND angry, simultaneously. How awful. No matter what their dispute, to take the life of an animal is reprehensible.![]()
I believe I read somewhere that microchipping is not yet universal, so a shelter or vet clinic could scan a pet and if their scanning device did not happen to match the manufacturer of the chip imbedded, it would not register. If this is true, some law needs to be passed so that all microchips and scanners can recognize each other and are compatible, or else . . . what is the point???!![]()
