The cats will work it out on their own- if Myles gets too rough- just pick him up and remove him from the situation. It is better to distract him than to punish him, as you don't want him to associate punishment with the new kitten.

I think Mercury is a good name for a silver tabby.

How about: Mario, Mickey, or Magic...THings will work out, just give it time. Is the 7 month old neutered yet??

Yes he is neutered. The other kitten is only 6 weeks old and it just scares me when he rolls him and the kitten meows really loud. Sorry I am just freaking out and don't know if I should be
