Oftentimes that still does not make it right to just "steal" images to use, even if you give credit, you still did not have permission in the first place.

If that is what you were referring to. Your question was kind of confusing.

I think what she means is that under some peoples signatures is written -

'thanks *whoever* for the great sig'

- or something similar - and perhaps to PM the people so named and ask them to make a signature.
